Enhanced Referral Services
Child Care Choices offers the business community ways to increase productivity and moral among employees and decrease absenteeism. While working, if parents feel good about the child care situation they leave their child(ren) in each day, their attitude about their employment changes. Employers can contract with Child Care Choices to offer services to their employees that may assist these working parents in locating a quality, stable and enjoyable child care situation for their child(ren). Our enhanced referral service offers parents such things as:

  • One on one time with a bilingual personal parent counselor to help the parent determine their child care needs
  • Materials to help the parent make an educated, informed decision about where to leave their child each day
  • Referrals to local child care centers, family child care homes, before and after school care and school age summer care
  • At least three confirmed openings in the type of care arrangement the parent chooses
  • Ongoing assistance to the concerning the child care situation they have selected
  • Follow up calls with the parent to address any new concerns or questions
  • Links to all Child Care Choices parent education opportunities
  • Referrals to other agencies as needed
  • Subscription to monthly newsletter, Child Care Chatter

Work/Family Issues
Child Care Choices offers services to the business community throughout Johnston County. Many of these services are offered on-site, as well as through other means of communication with employers and employees. Many families throughout Johnston County are comprised of two working parents or one single working parent. In both of these situations, balancing work and family related issues could become a strain on the parent(s).
Child Care Choices is aware of the types of issues that working parents face on a daily basis. We offer seminars and workshops designed to meet the needs of working parents. Some topics for workshops and seminars:

On-site workshops and seminars can be held at different times of the day, depending on what best meets the needs of the employees and employer.
