WOULD YOU LIKE TO BECOME A NC Pre-K PROVIDER?

Thanks for your interest in applying to become a provider in Johnston County’s NC Pre-K Program.  Sites that have achieved the status of 4 or 5 Stars may become providers.  To be eligible to participate in the NC Pre-K program, a center must be willing to meet each of the following requirements:

Use Creative Curriculum and Second Step (social and emotional curriculum) in the Pre-K classroom.

Employ staff in Pre-K classrooms that meet NC Pre-K minimum educational requirements of BS Degree in BK w/ SPI LIcensure for lead teachers and AA degree in Early Childhood for assitant teachers.

Have a maximum class size of 18 children, with a 1 : 9 ratio of teacher to students in the NC Pre-K classrooms.
